If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it

Campaign analytics is the process of tracking, measuring, and analyzing data from marketing campaigns (email, social, paid ads) to understand performance, optimize strategies, and prove ROI by linking activities to business goals like leads or sales. It involves collecting metrics (clicks, conversions, open rates) and interpreting them to answer why something happened, guiding data-driven decisions for better budget allocation and future campaign success.

If the right infrastructure exists within an organisation, digital campaigns can be tracked on a granular level. We will now get into what we were able to track and measure for Bestmed.

Why these numbers are incorrect

We were able to track a full month of all internal campaigns from November 2025. So here’s some simple mathematics. In November 4322 total leads were generated. We can now subtract all the leads of trackable sources from this total.

x = 4322 – (Google search – Microsoft search – Social Media – internal lead – walk in – Call in – Email – Referral – Internal App – Over 24 – Private client)

x = 4322 – 3972

x = 350

If we do the same calculation for December, we end up with x = 209.

These x amounts would be all the leads that came directly from all the sources we are unable to track. That’s Display, Influencer, and organic website visits combined.

Social Media Advertising

We experienced technical difficulties extracting campaign data beyond november 2025. We are investigating the issue. Askies.
