“Any fool can make something complex. It takes a genius to make it simple.” — Albert Einstein
UX (User Experience) is the overall feeling and journey a person has with a product, focusing on usefulness and ease, while UI (User Interface) is the visual, interactive part—the buttons, colors, and layout users actually see and touch, making the experience pleasant and intuitive. UX is about how it works and why, while UI is about how it looks and feels.
Here are some examples of a bad user experience due to a complex design >>> Visit bestmed website in incognito mode.
Any good UX/UI starts with a great design and a great CMS (Content Management System / Website builder) to build it with. A great user experience is not something you build once and leave alone. You need to constantly tweak it based on users’ activity on your website. This is only cost effective and efficient when you have a fully functional CMS that does not need you to write or edit code (which is a lengthy process) for every simple change like changing the structure of a page.
Imagine being able to build a new page in a single day. You dont have to, cause it is possible. >>> Demonstrate.

What we have achieved
Due to limitations caused by the CMS, we have not achieved much in improving UX and UI. Nonetheless we did get some stuff done that we will continue to do.
Social Proof
Social proof refers to the psychological phenomenon where people are more likely to trust and purchase a product or service if they see evidence that others are already using and approving of it. We achieved this by placing customer testimonials on the welcome carousel and the number of people who use our services.

What didnt work?
Embeding too many videos on on a single page
This has caused pages, specifically the Tempo page, to have slow load speeds. Currently we link 3 videos per Tempo journey. This will have to be reduced to just one embeded video and there will be a link to view the rest on Youtube.

What’s new?
Plan Spotlight
We plan to add a slide on the carousel that will highlight the 3 most popular plans (or just one) and the demographic it’s popular with. This will help reduce decision anxiety and decrease the amount of time a user spends looking through our plans, therefore increasing the chances of them submitting their details.
